Book 1: They Both Die at the End By: Adam Silvera
Both Mateo and Rufus get the calls that it is their last day alive. They were stranger the morning that they got the call but decided to meet each other through the last friend apps. Throughout the book they fall in love with each other until fate decided to hit. This book is beautifully written and had an amazing plot and story that is shown how important life is before death.
Book 2: Field Notes on Love By: Jennifer E Smith
After a tough breakup Hugo has to find another Margaret Campbell to travel across America with him. Mae happens to see his post asking for someone with the name of Margaret Campbell. She decides to go on this train ride with a complete stranger with hopes to make a film to reapply to film school. On this train Hugo and Mae fall in love with each other. This story is the perfect combination of romance and adventure. It gave me hope that I can find love in this world.
Book 3: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban By JK Rowling
During his 3rd year at Hogwarts young Harry Potter must face the escaped Azkaban prisoner known as Sirius Black. Though Harry does not know it Sirius Black is his godfather. Through this story of family and loss Harry and his friends help find the true traitor to Harry's parents and help rescue an innocent man. Though the entire Harry Potter series is incredible this one is my personal favorite. The character dynamics of Remus Lupin, Sirius Black, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, and Harry Potter and how they have grow throughout the book and start to learn about themselves and what is important in their life.
Book 4: Call Me By Your Name By: Andre Aciman
Elio falls in love with his families summer guest Oliver during the summer they spend together somewhere in Northern Italy. Throughout the story they must prove their love for each other until Oliver must return home to the United States. Again this story shows what love is and show they dynamic of relationships in the 1980's. This story is also incredibly sad.
Book 5: Love and Gelato By: Jenna Evans Welch
After her mother dies Lina is forced to live in Italy with her father she has never known. Soon after she arrives she is gifted one of her mothers journals that shows Lina what her mother was like in Italy. After reading her mothers journal Lina and her new friend Ren go on adventures based on the journal and realize the truth of what happened when her mother was in Italy and fall in love along the way. I may have a thing for cheesy love story books that make you fall in love with the relationships and the characters in the story but this book showed me that love is out there in the world no matter where you are. This book also made me want to move to Italy and start meeting new Italian friends.
Book 6: One of us is Lying By: Karen M McManus
After the mysterious death of teenage boy Simon in detention the four other students in the room are suddenly suspects in a murder. Browyn who was the brain, Addy who was the beauty, Cooper the athlete, and Nate they typical bad boy. Little did they know Simon was planning on posting something on his blog that could ruin their lives the next day. While being mixed in with the drama of searching for who killed Simon each kid faced love, hardships, and secrets that came out into the open during the time. This book is absolutely incredible. If you are looking for a story to read I highly recommend. I got so into this book and fell in love with each character and their plots and arc in the story. Not gonna spoil anything but I did cry at the ending of this book.
Book 7: To Kill a Kingdom By: Alexandra Christo
After Lira, a siren, kills one of their own the sea queen punishes her by making her a sirens worst nightmare, a human. Prince Elian the famous siren killer stumbles across Lira floating in the middle of the ocean to take her upon his ship. With the help of Lira, Elian is able to find the only way that he can kill the sea queen. Along the way Lira and Elian fall in love only for Elian to realize she is a siren and the Princess Bane. This story is incredible and so easy to get into and love. My brother recommended this to me so I could read it and I enjoyed the story so much. Though it may be another love story the mixture of romance and adventure makes the story worth a read. You will also want to be a pirate who goes and explore the ocean after reading this story.
So those are some of my favorite books I have read as of now. They are all incredible stories you can read to get lost in fantasy worlds and that will make you want to fall in love, become a wizard, or even become a pirate. Hopefully these stories are able to find there way onto your bookshelves.
